Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov has manifested his wish to be naturalized in France many times.
Just after the Second World War, on September 6, 1945, he applied for naturalization to the head of the French Government at the time, General de Gaulle.
This application was only obtained very late, as it appears in the Official Journal of 11 October 1987 page 11883, confirmed by the civil status form of 28 December 1987 mentioning that he was French by the naturalisation decree of 6 October 1987, thus after having left this world.
This is the ultimate recognition granted by France to a person who had a great love for it and who gave it so much!
