Congress Centre and Head Office of the Association
A privileged place for meetings and exchanges around the thought of Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov.
This fraternal centre is located on the heights of Sèvres in the vicinity of Paris. Adjacent to the woods, surrounded by a small flowered and wooded park, it offers excellent conditions for spiritual work: open space, silence, fresh air, unobstructed view towards the sunrise (izgrev in Bulgarian means sunrise).
Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov lived in Izgrev for many years, sharing all daily activities with a small group of disciples.
The place remains imbued with his powerful and harmonious presence. He gave a constant example of a life of consecration to Heaven and selfless love. His improvised talks, inspired by a very high vision of the fraternal bond between all creatures, have attracted many disciples over the years.
Many times expanded and embellished to be always more alive, Izgrev offers its hosts, guests or members of the association, an atmosphere of calm and serenity where beauty and colours play a major role. The organization of the collective life aims for a balance between spiritual, relational and physical activities.
Izgrev is open to members of the association all year round, except for the summer months, when the annual international congress is held at the centre of Le Bonfin (Var). Brotherly meetings take place throughout the year every weekend, and more particularly during the Christmas and New Year’s congress, which is often attended by members of French groups and sister associations from other countries.
During these meetings, the main common activities are meditation, choral singing, the hearing of lectures of the Master, the silent intake of meals, the listening of sacred music, the practice of gymnastics exercises. In spring, meditation takes place outdoors during sunrise, and during the morning the participants dance the Paneurhythmia.
At other times of the day, music and song rehearsals, art workshops, gardening, all kinds of sharing and exchange of ideas, not to mention meal preparation and various daily tasks take place.
Finally, certain festive moments in the year give rise to artistic productions: music, theatre, poetry, painting, photography, audiovisual, dance, etc. Everyone according to their talents can participate in the preparation of concerts, exhibitions and performances…
